011917_3In order to get the most out of life, you need to be healthy.  The healthiest people have a handful of habits in common. Here are a few:

  • Research shows that early risers are more likely to be healthier than night owls.  Their immune system is stronger and biological clocks more alert.
  • Release stress through exercise – rather than chocolate!  A vigorous workout or a short walk will help those cares and worries fall away.
  • You can increase your lifespan by not smoking, moderately drinking alcohol, have a healthy diet and staying active.  Boring – but true!
  • Be optimistic.  Research has shown that there is a link between optimism and good health.
  • Socialise or do a hobby rather than watch.  Activity increases your life expectancy whereas being sedentary reduces it.

Enjoy your day by incorporating some of these things into your day.
