021517_2This is your chance to dream of all the things you could do.  Begin by asking yourself, “What would I do if I knew I couldn’t fail?”  What risks would you be willing to take to ensure you achieved your desire or dream?  Imagine how liberated you would feel.

Having a passion for whatever you do impacts greatly on your belief about your capacity to achieve extraordinary results.

Passion drives your willingness to test the limits, your willingness to put yourself on the line; your willingness to make mistakes, and your passion will determine the characteristics of your life experience.

What turns you on and makes you excited?

Asking a few questions and doing a few simple activities can help you discover your passion.

  • Begin by writing down what you enjoy and are good at.
  • Write what you are doing when you feel passion within.
  • What makes your ‘heart sing’ – personally and professionally?
  • List 25 things you would like to do before you die.  Your ‘bucket list’.
  • Spend time writing in a journal, any thoughts or feelings that enter your mind, when you ask yourself, “What am I passionate about?” Do this for several days and see what emerges.

You may discover you have some major passions and others are more minor passions. For instance, wanting to educate people to live a healthier lifestyle or beginning your own business are major passions whereas your dream house or the type of car you could like to drive could be minor ones. Once you complete your list, you will most probably have only a couple of major passions and lots of minor ones.

Once you have listed a few major passions, keep looking at them over a few days. Listen to your inner voice, visualize yourself doing some of these things and be aware of any ‘gut’ or internal feelings. Which ones are really important to you?

Enjoy. :)
