  1. You are not the only one Bev as I also have days where I feel my glass is empty. Love your tips on how to put things in perspective and focusing on the positives rather than the negatives. Great reminder.

  2. Thanks for your comment Susan and I am so pleased I am not the only one who has an empty glass somedays – and fortunately it is not often. It really is focusing on having an attitude to gratitude.

  3. I use a stone in my pocket and each time I touch it I am reminded to think of one thing that I am grateful for right at this moment. It is a wonderful feeling.

  4. Thanks for sharing this Michele. I hope it is a stone from somewhere special!

  5. We so habitually forget to focus on what is rather than what we still have to get, want or what is not. Any reminder that helps to bring us into a mindfulness of the present is good.
Being thankful for the now removes the regret of yesterday and the worry of today and tomorrow. Every time I thank God for his faithfulness and love my cup is overflowing not because everything is perfect or easy because it never will be, but thankfulness for what is gives me a right perspective contentment and joy.

  6. Thanks Michele and I am thankful for very thoughtful comment. I think your last sentence really sums it up and does put in in perspective – a great reminder to us all!
