As vibrant, mature women who want to live a life of of passion and purpose for many years, it is important to remain youthful. Therefore, I thought I would share some tips that would assist the mature woman to remain youthful.

Sleep is an essential ingredient for a healthy and youthful life. Many mature women over the age of 50 suffer from poor sleep – for a whole variety of reasons, so here are some tips to help you improve your sleep.

  1. Bev, I agree with all that you’ve suggested. My idea for consideration is a bout of laugher. This can be stimulated laughter from say a comedy movie/tv program, shared laughter, or simulated laughter which can be done silently so as not to disturb those who are already asleep. Scientific study has shown the body doesn’t know if it is fake or real laughter and that hearty laughter contributes to a good night’s sleep. Laugh Lots! Phillipa

  2. Thanks for taking the time to comment Phillipa and great tip about laughter helping you to sleep. However not sure if I could laugh silently – plus if it is worth laughing about why not wake up others and get them to join in!
